Advocate for Parental Equality and Family Court Reform
Robert Garza survived a brutal 15-year custody battle and over 43 false CPS allegations. Today, he leads the national movement for family court reform, transforming personal adversity into a mission that protects children and upholds parental rights across America.
About Robert Garza
Robert Garza's transformation from a father fighting for his children's rights to a nationally recognized advocate represents one of the most compelling stories in family court reform. His journey began with personal tragedy but evolved into a mission that has touched families across the globe.
As the architect of Texas Senate Bill 718 (passed on Father's Day 2023), Robert established a new standard for parental equality in custody determinations. This groundbreaking legislation, combined with the Three Strikes Law for custody interference, has created a foundation for reform that advocates nationwide are building upon.
Robert's influence extends far beyond Texas. His work helped North Dakota pass model legislation, and his 400+ reform bills have been circulated to advocates across all 50 states and internationally. This comprehensive legislative package addresses every aspect of family court dysfunction, from due process protections to judicial accountability measures.
In July 2025, Robert was appointed Director of Americans for Judicial Accountability (AJA), where he leads efforts to bring transparency and accountability to family courts nationwide. He is also a featured speaker at the prestigious Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG) 2025conference in Toronto.
